Going to class. Roller skated down a steep hill very smoothly but there was a game going on with hundreds of people. Had to stop to avoid interrupting the event. Instead of walking up, I crawled along the edge of the asphalt inside a fabric gutter, a river many feet below. People were jumping. I got to the top and realized my clothes were inadequate for school and my wheels had fallen off.

Thinking I'd done the right thing, I'd stuffed about twenty chickens into a large Tupperware container and placed them in the refrigerator. When I pulled them out they were half alive and stuck together, rotting, with broken legs that snapped off. I tried to pry them apart, but their skin was peeling.

Lucid dream. I was teaching class and all was going horribly wrong so I walked very far across a campus to my office where I poured red wine into a silver togo cup. When I left to return all the buildings had changed. "Lara," I said, "This is not possible. This is nothing like reality. You are dreaming. You do not have to get back to class. Nothing will happen. Just go. Go!" It took a little convincing since the responsibility to fulfill my obligation to my students was very powerful. Finally, I capitulated to my rational mind. I bounded away like a freed animal across soft hills. I met strangers with whom I engaged kinky sex and/or interviewed them as usual: "Who are you, exactly?" They revealed nothing.

Lucid Dream: Trying to get "home". Drove on frantic freeways across confusing intersections. Car disappeared started to run across rocks into entertainment district up staircases dead end in a loft. Leaped from fountain tops and neon signs over crowds of people. Ran into a street winding through rows of open concept shops. A voice said, "Lara, slow down. You are trying to get home but you never will. You are dreaming. Here, let me introduce you to some people." I introduced myself to several strangers, asked them questions but they only replied with vague answers.
